Former Virgin Money chief Jayne-Anne Gadhia snubs Bank job for Salesforce

Former Virgin Money chief executive Jayne-Anne Gadhia was today named UK boss of Salesforce, spurning a role at the Bank of England.

The banker will take up her role with the New York-listed cloud software specialist in October.

The Bank of England confirmed she will not be filling her post as an external member of its financial policy committee.

“We fully understand her decision and wish her well for the future,” the Bank said.

Her appointment had already been delayed amid fears her role as an adviser to Virgin Money owner CYBG could prove a conflict of interest.

She is also founder of data start-up Snoop.
