Former Vikings WR Charles Johnson signs with Eagles

After excelling in the AAF, wide receiver Charles Johnson is getting another chance in the NFL.

Johnson has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.

If you’re a Vikings fan, Johnson is familiar to you. He spent 2014-16 with the Vikings, finishing with 60 catches for 834 yards and two touchdowns.

His best season came in 2014 when he hauled in 31 catches for 475 yards and two touchdowns.

At 30, the odds might be against Johnson making the Eagles. But he signed a deal with the Jets and Panthers after being with the Vikings, but simply wasn’t able to stay healthy.

If he can perform like he did for Orlando’s AAF team, he should be OK.
