Former Vikings WR Charles Johnson has been an AAF stud

Charles Johnson played three seasons in the NFL, all with the Vikings from 2014-16.

In three seasons and 39 games (17 starts), Johnson finished with 60 catches for 834 yards and two touchdowns.

Johnson, just 29 years old, is suiting up for the Orlando Apollos in the AAF. And through two weeks, Johnson has been an absolute stud.

In Sunday’s win over the San Antonio Commanders, Johnson finished with a league-record 192 yards. Of course, it’s still very early in this league (just two weeks).

Throught the first two weeks, Johnson has 252 yards from quarterback Garrett Gilbert.

We’ll see if Johnson’s AAF success gets him a look on an NFL roster come training camp time.
