Former Vikings coach Leslie Frazier gets promotion with Bills

The Bills announced on Wednesday that defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier will continue those duties, along with being promoted to assistant head coach.

It’s a well-deserved promotion for a guy who has his defense ranked second and third in yards allowed over the last two seasons, respectively. Buffalo also allowed the second-fewest points last season.

Vikings fans remember him from his three-plus seasons as head coach from the team from 2010-13. During that stretch, Frazier put together a 21-32-1 record while making the playoffs in 2012.

Frazier was the defensive coordinator for the Vikings from 2007-2010 as well.
