Former UGA wide receiver Riley Ridley drafted by Chicago Bears

Riley Ridley, former four-star wide receiver for the Dawgs, was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 126th overall pick on Saturday after spending three seasons at UGA.

Ridley is from Deerfield Beach, Florida, and is the younger brother of Falcons’ receiver and former Alabama star Calvin Ridley. He had a solid game in the 2018 national championship loss to his older brother and then enjoyed a breakout season the following year, scoring nine touchdowns and picking up 559 yards on the season.

Ridley is expected to be the type of player who can contribute right away to an NFL roster, and should enjoy success early on in his days in a Chicago uniform.
