Former UGA Punter Cam Nizialek shines in Peach State homecoming

The Atlanta Legends (0-3) dropped their third-straight game of the season at home on Sunday but former Georgia punter Cam Nizialek had a great showing.

Nizialek signed with the Legends in January, just one year removed from college football. The Columbia University graduate transfer spent the 2017 season in Athens where he went on to have 61 punts for an average of 45 yards with the Bulldogs in their epic Rose Bowl-winning season.

Sunday, Nizialek returned home to the Peach State where he put on a show in front of the Georgia State Stadium crowd. After three punts, Nizialek averaged 51.5 yards per attempt with a 65-yard boot being the longest of the day.

The Legends punter now has 11 kicks on the season and is averaging 48.3 yards per attempt. Perhaps some NFL scouts will take another look at the former Georgia Bulldog.
