Mecole Hardman, the former Georgia football speedster and second-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs, scored his first NFL touchdown on Saturday night in the preseason.
After the game, the lightning-fast Peach State native was given the keys to the Chiefs’ Twitter account for a moment, to share a message with his fans.
Hardman went on to thank fans for their support and express his excitement for the upcoming season.
The former Bulldog will join Patrick Mahomes and the always controversial Tyreek Hill on the field this season, in what is expected to be the quickest offense in the league.
