Fans of the hit comedy show Two and a Half Men will be forgiven for not recognising actor Angus T Jones.
That’s because the child star is unrecognisable now having grown up considerably since leaving the American sitcom.
Angus was aged 10 when he began starring as sweet character Jake Harper in the CBS series – and won two coveted awards for his comical role.
But the former child star has now grown up into a man and was snapped sporting a huge bushy beard in a rare sighting in Los Angeles, California.
Strangely walking around bare-foot, Angus sported a black beanie hat, shorts and black T-shirt with the logo Shoquip emblazoned across it.
And it’s a completely different casual look to how TV viewers will fondly remember him for his starring role alongside Hollywood heartthrob Charlie Sheen and fellow actor Jon Cryer in the popular comedy.
Two and a Half Men aired for a staggering 12 seasons – and Angus was a key ingredient to the show’s heart-warming dynamic.
Jake (Angus) lived with his hard-drinking uncle Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) and his disillusioned father, Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) after his parents divorced.
But since filming wrapped for good in 2012, Angus, 27, has rarely been spotted as he took a backseat from the spotlight.
He once declared he had been a “paid hypocrite” following his departure, but surprisingly to make a cameo in the final series, which aired in February 2015.
Angus once told the Forerunner Chronicles, a Christian group, in a 2012 video, that people should "stop watching" his show" because it was "filling your head with filth”.
“Jake from Two and a Half Men means nothing,” he stressed in the video, written abut in the Hollywood Reporter.
“He is a non-existent character. If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men.
“I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth.
“People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."
"You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that,” he claimed.
“I know I can’t. I’m not OK with what I’m learning, what the Bible says and being on that television show.”
Since finishing with Two and a Half Men, Angus has worked on TV show Horace and Pete back in 2016, but that is his last acting credit to date.
In all he won four acting awards during a stellar child career and was nominated for awards on three other occasions respectively.
