In lawsuit, Antonio Brown’s former trainer alleges he sexually assaulted, raped her

The Antonio Brown saga took a very ugly turn on Tuesday. According to multiple reports, including from Ben Shpigel of the New York Times, the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is being accused of three separate incidents, including rape and sexual assault, by his former trainer, whom he first met in college.

This is a very sensitive subject, and no one here is passing judgment on anyone involved at this time. Brown released a statement via his legal team that he plans to countersue, and you can bet regardless of the outcome this is going to get worse for everyone before it gets better.

Brown signed with the New England Patriots on Monday after orchestrating his release from the Oakland Raiders, who had acquired him from the Pittsburgh Steelers via trade in the offseason.
