Reality TV star James Argent, aka Arg from The Only Way is Essex, will be a long way from Brentwood this Christmas as he is set to star in Tenby's pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.
Featuring a cast of professional actors and some local performers, the production will have all the usual panto trimmings, colourful scenery and costumes, popular song and dance routines and bags of slapstick fun.
Arg will play Silly Simon in the brand new production which will be performed at at the De Valence Pavilion in Tenby this December, and there'll even be meet and greet opportunities alongside the show.
The reality star, who has also appeared on Celebs Go Dating, Diva Forever with on/off love Gemma Collins and Celebrity Coach Trip after almost a decade on TOWIE, said: “I absolutely love pantomime especially interacting with the audiences, there is nothing like a good panto to really get you into the festive season.
"I love Wales and can’t wait to come to Tenby for the first time."
Alongside Arg will be West End leading lady Emma Norman as The Woodland Fairy, James Schouten as the evil Fleshcreep, Alan Wilson as Jack and Princess Jill will be cast via the 'Search for the Princess ' launched later this year.
The company will also be searching for 60 youngsters from the ages of six to 12 to appear across the performances along with four local senior dancers. Auditions will take place in the summer so keep an eye out locally.
Jack and the Beanstalk runs at De Valence Pavilion, Tenby from Thursday, December 9 to Friday, December 31.
