Former TOWIE star Lydia Bright has announced she is pregnant with her first child in a bittersweet interview.
It's bittersweet because the 29-year-old also confirmed she has split from the baby's father, Lee Cronin.
In an interview with Hello! magazine she said: "It's been so hard keeping this a secret .
"I've done so much travelling, I've done all my partying holidays, I'm where I want to be in terms of my life, financially and career-wise.
"It just feels like the right time for it all to happen for me.
"I've always wanted the fairytale. And it's obviously not worked out exactly how I wanted.
"I'm not closing the door on it completely, but I feel like I just keep getting knocked back.
"I can't beg somebody to be with me, and I can't beg somebody to love me."
Lydia added: "I know this baby will be the best thing that has ever happened to me."
Discussing her split, she added: "It's not the ideal situation. I waited quite a long time to try for a baby, waited until I thought it was perfect."
She added her baby is due in February.
Congratulations messages have flooded in for the reality TV star after she posted the news on her Instagram page.
Lucy Mecklenburgh was one of the former Towie stars to reach out to the star and wrote: Yes my beautiful bestie is having a bubba! U r ganna b the best mum ever! Love you yummy mummy."
Ferne Mcann also posted a congratulations message and wrote: "oh wow darling congrats congrats lovely news."
Michelle Keegan wrote: "Awwww congratulations xxx" and Sam Friars wrote: "Was with your mum yesterday (soon to be nanny) bet she was itching to tell me. Such wonderful news. Congratulations. lots of love xxxx
Lydia previously dated James Argent but called time on their relationship back in 2016 after dating on and off for six years.
