Former Tottenham striker Mido launches scathing attack on Daniel Levy over manager search

Former Tottenham striker Mido has launched a scathing attack on Spurs chairman Daniel Levy as his old club continues their search for a new manager.

Spurs had been in talks to appoint former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte, but they called an end to talks last week.

The club had also been looking at rehiring Mauricio Pochettino, however he now looks as though he will remain at Paris Saint-Germain.

And now Mido, who played for Tottenham from 2005 to 2007, has hit out at Levy as he continues to search for a replacement for Jose Mourinho.

Mido tweeted: "Tottenham fans should know better. Daniel Levy will never bring any manager in who wants full control of the football decisions, will never bring in a demanding manager!!

“That’s why he sacked Poch when he started to ask for more players when he started to compare his team to City”.
