Former Tottenham player provides Arsenal and Spurs transfers and Premier League finish verdict

Arsenal and Tottenham have made up for lost time this summer by seemingly making huge inroads on the race for the Premier League title.

It's not that both sides can now definitely challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the entire season but rather the gap between the top two and the London duo shouldn't be as big during the upcoming campaign.

Arsenal have signed Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba (loaned back to Saint-Etienne), Dani Ceballos (loan from Real Madrid), Nicolas Pepe, Kieran Tierney and David Luiz.

Spurs, meanwhile, have acquired Tanguy Ndombele in a club record deal and also brought in the likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso (on loan initially from Real Betis) and Jack Clarke (loaned back to Leeds United.

But who has had the better transfer window out of the two North London rivals? And which side will finish above the other? Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara has provided his view on those two questions.

"Arsenal have had a fantastic transfer window. They have had the better transfer window out of the two sides," O'Hara told Sky Sports. "But when it comes to where the two sides will finish, I still have to back Spurs.

How VAR will work in the Premier League

"It's not big (the gap between the teams). Arsenal were close last season. The problem that Arsenal had was their away form. They have strengthened at the back where they were weak.

"Arsenal now going forward look fantastic. Spurs haven't got that replacement for Harry Kane if he gets injured which is a worry, but I'd still go with Spurs.

"I do think Arsenal will make the top four, though. Spurs have had a good window but Arsenal are going to be right there after what they have done."
