Former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews has found his new NFL home.
It was announced earlier in the week that he was practicing with the New Orleans Saints on a tryout basis, but it’s now become official he’s signed with the team.
The 29-year-old was originally a seventh-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2012, and also saw time with the Titans and New York Jets.
Matthews made just eight appearances for Tennessee before requesting to be released in September.
On an eight-season career, Matthews totals 230 receptions for 3,160 yards and 21 touchdowns.
