Former Titans WR Rashad Ross makes small splash in Week 2 of AAF action

A number of former Tennessee Titans have now seen action for one of the ten teams that make up the Alliance of American Football, now that the new league has concluded its second week.

One player to find himself at the top of the charts for his respective team was wide receiver Rashad Ross.

Ross spent only a short time with the Titans, joining the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2013 NFL Draft. He was signed to the practice squad after final cuts were made, and then was ultimately released from there on Oct. 29, 2013.

In Week 2 of AAF action, Ross was a bit more of a factor for the Arizona Hotshots than he was ever allowed the chance to be in Tennessee.

He totaled four receptions for 67 yards in Arizona’s close 20-18 victory over the Memphis Express on the road. Ross led the Hotshots in receiving in the first game, reeling in five receptions for 103 yards.

Arizona won that contest as well in a 38-22 triumph over Salt Lake.

Ross will look to keep himself in the mix as a favorable target in team’s passing game as they face the Salt Lake Stallions on the road on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.
