Former Titans safety Johnathan Cyprien signs with Eagles

The Tennessee Titans could be facing a familiar face when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 8.

Former Titans safety Johnathan Cyprien is signing a one-year deal with the Eagles, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Cyprien signed with the Titans in 2017, but was plagued by injuries. That year, a hamstring injury limited him to just 10 games. An ACL tear stunted him last year, leaving Kenny Vaccaro to cement a place on the roster for himself in his absence.

While in Tennessee, he recorded 57 tackles, one sack and one pass defensed.

The Titans made the decision to cut Cyprien in March.
