Ex-Tennessee Titans offensive tackle and current free agent, Dennis Kelly, is set to have a visit with his former team’s division rival, the Houston Texans.
According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, Kelly will meet with the Texans on Monday. Kelly already has a connection to Houston, as his brother, Tim, has been the Texans’ offensive coordinator since 2019.
Kelly, who spent five seasons with Tennessee, was a surprise release by the Titans earlier this offseason after signing a three-year deal with the team in 2020 and serving as the starting right tackle.
In 2020, Kelly appeared in all 16 games and posted an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 65.9 during a season in which he helped pave the way for running back Derrick Henry to rush for 2,000 yards.
The 31-year-old offensive lineman wore many hats while with the Titans. He offers versatility as someone who can play both tackle spots and move to the inside if need be.
