Former Titans OL Josh Kline could get opportunity sooner than later with Vikings

Former Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Josh Kline found a new NFL home with the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday afternoon.

The team appears to consider him a long-term option to bolster the interior, inking Kline to a three-year, $15.75 million deal.

According to a report by ESPN’s Courtney Cronin, there’s a good possibility Kline will play right guard.

Nothing is set in stone yet with the league still in  the midst of the offseason, but with 46 consecutive starts at the position, it sounds like there’s a decent possibility Kline could ascend to the top of the depth quickly.

It’s also hard to believe the Vikings would have signed Kline to a multi-year deal like this one if they didn’t intend to give him a serious shot at being a starter.

Kline also says he thinks the adjustment to the new offense will be an easy one since its so similar to Tennessee’s.

Given the sense of familiarity Kline has already found in Minnesota and the team’s thinness within the o-line, there’s plenty of opportunity for the guard to make a name for himself once more in 2019.
