Former Titans CB Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones retires from NFL

Former Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones has announced his retirement after 12 seasons in the NFL.

Jones, selected sixth overall by the Titans in 2005, was a Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection once apiece in a star-crossed career marked by arrests and suspensions.

Jones posted a video from his Instagram account saying it’s “official that I’m done with the NFL” on Friday morning.

The 35-year-old played two seasons for the Titans before he was suspended for the entire 2008 season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Jones was traded to Dallas Cowboys that year. He went on to star for the Cincinnati Bengals and played seven games last season for the Denver Broncos before being released in November.

Over his career, Jones posted 17 interceptions, returning two for touchdowns. He racked up nearly 6,000 total return yards and five touchdowns on punt returns.
