Former Thunder forward Kyle Singler signs deal overseas

After spending six seasons in the NBA, parts of three with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kyle Singler found himself playing for Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro CAB in Spain’s premier basketball league, Liga ACB, in the 2018-19 season.

It looks like the former Duke forward will play in Liga ACB again next season, though he’ll play for Iberostar Tenerife in 2019-20, according to Keith Smith of RealGM.

Singler is not the only ex-Thunder player who’ll be featured in Liga ACB in 2019-20. Former Oklahoma City guard Alex Abrines will play for Barcelona in his home country this upcoming season.

The two played together in Oklahoma City in 2016-17 and 2017-18.

In his 138 games with the Thunder, Singler averaged 3.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in the 13.6 minutes he played per night.
