Former Stone Roses legend Ian Brown announces Olympia, Dublin show as part of Irish tour

Dust off those cagoules and dig out those old bucket hats from the back of the wardrobe because music legend Ian Brown is coming back to Dublin.

The former Stone Roses man has just announced an Irish tour that will finish up at the Olympia Theatre on Wednesday, May 20.

This will be King Monkey's first solo tour anywhere in almost a decade.

The F.E.A.R. singer put his solo career on hold after reforming the seminal Madchester band in 2012 for a series of triumphant comeback shows.

He released his seventh solo album, 'Ripples', in February 2019.

The record was critically acclaimed and hit the Top 5 in the UK.

Derry band Touts will support Brown at all shows on the tour which also includes the following shows around the country:

  • May 14 – Limerick The Big Top
  • May 15 – Cork Opera House
  • May 16 – Galway Leisureland
  • May 18 – Derry Millennium Forum
  • May 19 – Belfast Ulster Hall

Tickets for Ian Brown’s Irish tour will go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 28.
