Former Steelers WR finds ‘closure’ on social media

Antonio Brown spent his first nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. For the last six, Brown was considered one of if not the best receiver in the NFL. But an ugly breakup in the offseason forced the two sides to part ways.

Since the split, things have gone from bad to worse for Brown as he was released by two teams before the third game and now finds himself without a team and learning to live without football.

Brown made an interesting Instagram post over the weekend. The image shows all the game balls he acquired while a member of the Steelers stuffed into a cardboard box with the caption “closure” indicating he has moved on from the team that made him a star in the NFL.

At this point, it isn’t clear if Brown will ever play in the NFL again. But as a Steelers’ fan and a guy who rooted for Brown even when things started to go haywire for him, it’s unfortunate he can so easily dismiss his time in Pittsburgh.
