I understand that not all music has to have some deep meaning. Often times really popular songs aren’t about much at all. This must be the angle former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is shooting for with his budding rap career. First, he puts out a song about how much money he has and now his second song is all about his failed workout with the New Orleans Saints.
I wish I was making this all up. But here is Home From the N.O.
Brown and his entourage did go to New Orleans for Brown’s workout. And as expected no contract came. Brown was one of several wide receivers the Saints brought in but you have to wonder if Brown knew that going in. He probably assumed he’d show up and New Orleans would have a giant bag of money waiting for him on a table.
