Former Steelers RB gets no love from his head coach

When Le’Veon Bell left the Pittsburgh Steelers to sign with the New York Jets, he was so excited to be starting with his new team. And despite how bad the Jets were and how much Bell struggled he continued to say all the right things publicly. For the most part, this is how Bell was when he was with the Steelers as well until he decided to start throwing people under the bus at the end.

But now maybe a little karma is coming back for Bell. Jets head coach Adam Gase, who admittedly isn’t the most tactful guy, was asked about if he wanted Bell back next season. To which Gase gave the most Adam Gase answer possible.

That one’s got to sting a little. Part of what Bell had to be hoping for when he went to New York was to be put up on a pedestal by the team like he was with the Steelers. But clearly he picked the wrong coach if he thought he’d get the Tomlin Treatment with Gase.

Who knows, maybe Bell will be on the trade market soon and he can be reunited with his old team.
