Former Steelers OC Ray Sherman, Blaine Stewart leading WR drills after death of Darryl Drake

The Pittsburgh Steelers will hold their final two practices at Saint Vincent College before they play their second preseason and head back to Pittsburgh for the remainder of the offseason. And they do so with a heavy heart as the entire franchise collectively mourns the loss of wide receivers coach Darryl Drake.

Head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media after practice on Wednesday and spoke candidly about what Drake meant to him. And as much as we would all love to just take our time to heal from this, the business of an NFL team is to keep moving forward and prepare for the next game.

With that, Tomlin said the team does have a plan in place to replace Drake on the coaching staff but chose not to discuss any details of it at this time. But the continued presence of Sherman, along with Blaine Stewart, appears to be the plan as of now.
