Former Steelers LB Terence Garvin gets first interception in AAF history

Former Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker Terence Garvin Made history on Saturday night. Garvin, who now plays for the Orlando Apollos of the AAF got an interception on Saturday night. This will forever be known as the first interception int he history of the fledgling league.

Garvin actually hauled in two interceptions in the game including a second that went for a touchdown.

Garvin spent three seasons in Pittsburgh as mostly a special teams player. It’s great to see Garvin getting an opportunity to extend his professional football career in the AAF. There are many former Steelers looking to re-start their careers in the AAF, perhaps in hopes of returning to the NFL.
