According to his representatives, former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Dan McCullers has signed with the Chicago Bears.
McCullers spent his first six seasons on the Steelers active roster. McCullers never contributed much but did find a way to hang around. The potential was always there for him to be good but he was never able to realize it.
In 2020, McCullers found himself relegated to the Steelers new expanded practice squad. Earlier in the week, McCullers terminated his own contract, indicating he was heading to an active roster on another team. Now we know that team is the Bears.
To replace McCullers on the practice squad, the Steelers signed wide receiver Cody White.
