Former Steeler calls out NFL for ‘random’ drug tests

It has been a while since any of our favorite former Pittsburgh Steelers have been in the news. But thankfully, running back Le’Veon Bell has broken the streak. Bell took to Twitter on Wednesday to rail against the NFL for what he say are five HgH tests in 10 weeks. Even if you don’t like Bell, as a Steeler fan you have to appreciate the league’s agendas when it comes to “random” drug tests.

Bell has obviously set himself up for a barrage of random tests after calling out the NFL publicly. Honestly, considering Bell’s history with failed drug tests, the NFL might be doing him a favor if they are only testing him for human growth hormone.

The Steelers lived this nightmare with James Harrison. The NFL went to great lengths to try to catch Harrison using PEDs and they ended up spending a year chasing their tails. The NFL might be doing the same with Bell.
