Former Spartan Justin Layne tours Steelers facility

When Cleveland, Ohio native and Browns superfan Justin Layne was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, it signaled the end of his family’s love for the Browns. Cleveland had an opportunity to select their hometown product but instead decided to take LSU cornerback Greedy Williams. Instead, Layne was drafted in the third round by AFC North powerhouse and Browns rival the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Justin Layne recently got some airtime touring his new facility in Pittsburgh. In regards to the Browns decor in his childhood house Layne said:

“My dad, he had the whole bathroom painted, he’s a die-hard Browns fan. He went to Home Depot, he sent me a picture, all that is gone.”

When commenting on the draft process, Layne said he had a ‘feeling’ that he would go to Pittsburgh and that he had a great feeling from the organization:

“My emotions were everywhere, just that whole weight, that whole process, but I already knew I was coming here it was crazy.. I just had a feeling.”
