Former Spartan DL Tunmise Adeleye transfers to Texas State

Tunmise Adeleye Texas State the Lone Star State

A former Spartan has a new home back in the Lone Star State.

Defensive lineman Tunmise Adeleye has committed to Texas State out of the transfer portal. Tunmise transferred to Michigan State from Texas A&M ahead of the 2023 season but left midyear following the firing of Mel Tucker.

In his short stint with the Spartans, Adeleye appeared in six games where he recorded nine tackles and one forced fumble.
