New Delhi: Former Samajwadi Party leaders Surendra Singh Nagar and Sanjay Seth joined the BJP here on Saturday.
BJP National General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni welcomed the two former SP leaders into the party fold at the party headquarters here.
The leaders said they were inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policy of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'. They hailed the government move on Jammu and Kashmir, and abrogation of Article 370.
The former SP leaders who recently joined the saffron party, Naresh Agrawal and Neeraj Shekhar were also present on the occasion.
Nagar and Mr Seth will meet BJP working president J P Nadda, Yadav said.

Seth resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Monday. He is the third SP MP to quit the Upper House since July 15. While SP MP Neeraj Shekhar had resigned from the Rajya Sabha on July 15, Mr Nagar, quit on August 2.
Senior Congress leader from Assam and former Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneswar Kalita had joined the saffron party on Friday.(UNI)
