Linebacker Azeem Victor, who was drafted by the Raiders last season and spent time on the Seahawks practice squad, has reportedly been suspended for the first 10 games of the 2019 season.
The reason for the suspension has yet to be reported.
Victor was a standout linebacker at the University of Washington for four years before Oakland took him in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft.
He ended up not making it through roster cuts and was immediately added to the practice squad by the Buccaneers, who cut him about a week later.
Seattle added him to their practice squad in late September, but he was removed after about a month. He has not appeared in an NFL game.
He is now a free agent, and with a hefty 10-game suspension attached to him, it will likely be even more difficult for him to find his way back onto an NFL roster this offseason.
