Pernell McPhee has decided to bring things full circle and go back to the Baltimore Ravens.
McPhee spent last year with the Washington Redskins and the year before that put some time in a trio of years with the Chicago Bears.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the McPhee-Ravens reunion went official Thursday.
Last year with the Redskins, McPhee didn’t record a sack. Conventional wisdom says the Redskins might have considered him as depth over the summer, but an ever-changing depth chart wouldn’t have guaranteed a spot on the 53.
This quiet move is at least something to keep in mind during training camp.
