Former Redskins LB Mason Foster works out for Ravens

Several weeks after the Washington Redskins made a surprising roster move and cut veteran linebacker Mason Foster, he is getting another chance to play.

The Baltimore Ravens, who released OLB Tim Williams this week, brought in Foster to work out.

The release of Foster struck a nerve with some Washington fans because the veteran was called the day before training camp began and told not to come in. Foster’s agent had a few words for the organization on Twitter after that happened.

In a classic turn of events for the Redskins, their linebacking depth has been questionable so far this season while they try to rely on Jon Bostic and rookie Cole Holcomb, both of whom are new to the system.
