Former Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is donating $50,000 to a coronavirus initiative foundation that is working to help kids who relied on subsidies for everyday life needs before the pandemic shook up our world.
The initiative will go to help bring meals and web-based programs to help continue the education for young kids in our area as they look to survive this pandemic and come out on the other side no less for the wear. Norman is one of several professional athletes that is looking to use their platform to better the lives of others and looking to help in our world’s time of need.
While Norman’s time in Washington grew frustrating for fans based on his level of play on the field, nobody can deny the genuine personality that Norman brought to the team, and his forwardness and willingness to help others during times of need as always been one of his best qualities. It is great to see his heart spreading through the streets of his new home in Buffalo as well.
