Former Redskins coach Jim Zorn will reportedly coach an XFL team

While the attention currently centers on the AAF, the XFL is starting to gear up for its big debut.

Plenty of former Washington Redskins could feature in that new league as well — with none perhaps surpassing the notability of former Redskins coach Jim Zorn:

Zorn went 12-20 over two seasons as the Redskins head coach after becoming the fourth hire of the Dan Snyder era. The Redskins stripped him of play-calling duties in the middle of his second year before letting him go after the season.

Since the head-coach gig, Zorn bounced around the league as a quarterbacks coach before fading out of the game in 2012.

At the least, it will be interesting to see how some of Zorn’s West Coast concepts, not to mention name power, help the upcoming league.
