Former Redskin Su’a Cravens discusses Trent Williams situation on Twitter

If it hasn’t been made clear already, former Washington Redskins safety Su’a Cravens has a bone to pick with the team. On Wednesday morning, Cravens took to Twitter once again to speak on the Trent Williams situation in Washington, proclaiming that the team made up lies about him and his injuries during the 2016-17 season, and he alluded to the fact that they’re doing the same now with Williams.

Cravens was traded to the Denver Broncos in March of 2018 after missing the entire 2017 season. It was a muddled situation where the safety left the team during preseason, pondered retiring from football and was eventually placed on the reserve list in September of 2017. Cravens suffered a knee injury in the preseason before concussion issues came up later in the year.

If you are to take his word for it now, the team apparently made up information about his injuries and took that public, which explained his eventual trade to the Broncos. It seems that Cravens is under the impression that the team is doing the same thing to Williams, who was diagnosed with cancer last year and had a growth on his scalp removed in the offseason.

At this point, it’s all ‘he said, she said,’ and you can make your own decisions on who to listen to. While the Redskins are unlikely to provide further comment on the entire situation, Cravens seems to believe that it is “CASE ADJOURNED 💯”
