Former Real Housewives star delighted with results of reverse tummy tuck after deciding on no more children

Former The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ampika Pickston has undergone a reverse tummy tuck after turning 40 and deciding to have no more children. The mum-of-one took to Instagram to share her reasons for going under the knife to achieve the stomach she has always wanted.

An excited Ampika shared a video before undergoing surgery at Pall Mall Cosmetics. Filmed by her former Real Housewives co-star Tanya Bardsley, beauty entrepreneur Ampika jiggled her stomach in a lacy cropped shirt as she addressed her 200,000 followers, saying she had waited to decide not to have any more children before having the op.

"I've waited until I've decided to have no more children and I've decided to go with Pall Mall Cosmetic Surgery to have a reversal tummy tuck," she said. Explaining the procedure she said: "Not people do this actual technique. It's where they pull and stretch the skin up and the scar lies underneath the breast so you don't see any scarring whatsoever."

She joked with Tanya to 'get the rolling pin out' as she squeezed her tummy and added: "I've waited for years. I've waited until I've had all my children and I've had one. There's no more babies for me. I'm 40 so why not turn back the hands of time and have the stomach that I've always wanted?"

Ampika then shared a video 10 days after her tummy tuck to show the scar underneath her breasts, which is expected to 'virtually disappear' after six or seven months. "I am pain free, I'm loving my new stomach. I can't wait to hit the beach," she told her fans.

Ampika, who starred in the Real Housewives for five series and left in 2017, memorably caused jaws to drop on the ITVBe show when she went out on the town sporting body paint and a drape necklace. The reality TV star sashayed into co-star Leanne Brown's 40th birthday celebrations in a nearly-naked outfit.

But many fans were unaware at the time that her body confidence came from an incredible transformation that saw her go from a size 20 to a size eight. Unhappy with her weight and feeling unfit at the age of 27, Ampika strapped on ankle weights and went for a walks in the countryside because in the beginning going to the gym felt too daunting.

"I bought exercise DVDs, started eating healthy and got my fitness back," she told the Manchester Evening News in 2019. "As my dress sizes dropped I started going to the gym."

"I'd had a baby and I was stuck in a routine. I was comfort eating. Previously I had modelled and was a size eight. But then I was pregnant and over time I put the weight on."

In September it was reported that Ampika had got engaged to West Ham owner David Sullivan. The 73-year-old billionaire businessman reportedly proposed to the former Real Housewives Of Cheshire star on her 40th birthday in July, after splitting with his partner of 25 years Emma Benton-Hughes.

David, who made his money in the adult entertainment industry, ran Birmingham City before he, joint chairman David Gold and vice-chairman Baroness Karren Brady took over West Ham in 2010. He launched the Daily Sport newspaper in 1991 before selling it for £45million and is one of Britain's richest men.

Ampika runs a cosmetic training business Ampika Aesthetics, based in Hale, Glasgow, Newcastle and London's Harley Street. She starred in five seasons of the ITVBe series Real Housewives, which follows the lives of glam and wealthy ladies living in Cheshire, and was one of the original cast line-up from 2015.

She went public with their relationship on her Instagram Stories as the loved-up couple watched a performance by singer JP Cooper. At the weekend she shared a loved-up photo of herself and her partner saying: "My happy place."
