Former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. will play in this year’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, the league announced Wednesday in a press release.
With the NBA’s All-Star Weekend taking place in Charlotte, N.C., this year, Smith will suit up for the “home” team — a squad filled with prominent figures that have ties to the state. Smith, of course, is well acquainted with the Charlotte area, having played 13 seasons with the Carolina Panthers before finishing his career in Baltimore.
