The Baltimore Ravens lost one of their practice squad players on Monday, as quarterback Trace McSorley was signed to the Arizona Cardinals active roster. In a corresponding move, Arizona cut quarterback Chris Streveler, who was acting as the Cardinals’ No. 3 quarterback.
Upon finding out the news that he would be heading to Arizona, McSorley took to Twitter to post a farewell message to Baltimore and the Ravens, showing his appreciation for the organization and the city that he spend more than two years with. He also posted a message expressing his excitement for his move to Arizona.

McSorley was a sixth-round selection of Baltimore back in the 2019 draft, and completed 3-of-10 passes for 90 yards and one touchdown in his regular season appearances. He lost the backup quarterback job in 2021 to fellow signal caller Tyler Huntley, but was a good option as the team’s third quarterback on the practice squad. The Ravens signed quarterback Kenji Bahar to their practice squad on Tuesday to take McSorley’s spot.
