Former Ravens QB comments on Lamar Jackson, Baltimore’s Super Bowl chances

The Baltimore Ravens have high expectations for themselves in 2021. Multiple players have talked about how important winning a Super Bowl championship is to them, and the team has put in countless hours of work to hopefully see that dream come true.

On the show “Get Up“, ESPN analyst and former Baltimore quarterback Robert Griffin III weighed in on the Ravens’ Super Bowl chances and also what he thinks about his former teammate in Lamar Jackson.

There has been a lot of talk surrounding Jackson, particularly that reportedly some teams think that they can figure him out. Griffin doesn’t believe that will be the case, saying that the quarterback is such an instinctual player that even Jackson himself doesn’t know what he’s going to do next.

In terms of Baltimore’s Super Bowl aspirations, Griffin says that he believes that the Ravens can win it all in 2021. He also says it’s “now or never” for the team, which seems like a bit of a stretch considering how young Jackson and a lot of the core pieces on the team are. However he does have a bit of a point, as Jackson is up for a massive contract extension, so this is the final year that Baltimore can compete for a Super Bowl without having the former University of Louisville star take up a significant portion of their cap space.

Griffin is very high on his former team, as well as his former teammates. He also isn’t buying the media narrative that Jackson can be figured out. The Ravens have a lot to prove in 2021, and Griffin believes that they can achieve their goals this season.
