Former Rangers star Kyle Hutton completes East Kilbride move as Kilby also snap up goalkeeper

East Kilbride have completed the signing of former Rangers star Kyle Hutton.

The Lowland League outfit unveiled the 29-year-old as their latest summer recruit alongside the club's new goalkeeper, Conor Brennan.

Both players starred for Dumbarton last season and have linked up with former Sons gaffer Stevie Aitken at K-Park.

Manager Aitken told Kilby's official website: "I am really excited to have been able to bring in players with the experience and quality of Kyle and Conor to K-Park.

"They will both enhance our group substantially, with our squad is really starting to take shape and looking stronger every week now as we look forward to the re-start."

Lanarkshire Live Sport revealed in June that Kilby had approached the former Airdrie, Partick Thistle and St Mirren midfielder and he joins a burgeoning list of ex-SPFL talent to join the ambitious fifth tier outfit.

Ex-Partick Thistle stars Chris Erskine and Paul Paton have already signed up and Kilby are also interested in bringing another ex-Thistle star, Kris Doolan, to K-Park.

Kilby have also been linked with a move for former Celtic striker Anthony Stokes as they bid to regain the Lowland League crown from Barry Ferguson's Kelty Hearts next season.
