Former Rangers captain Lee McCulloch joins Hearts as Tynecastle club confirm double appointment

Hearts have announced the appointments of Lee McCulloch and Gordon Forrest as first team assistant managers.

Robbie Neilson was keen to bring both men to the club having worked with them at Dundee United.

Both McCulloch and Forrest signed long-term deals which will keep them at the club until 2023.

Former Rangers captain McCulloch spent time as manager of Premiership side Kilmarnock and also coached at Polish side Lechia Gdansk before joining United.

Forrest played for Raith Rovers, Livingston, East Fife and Berwick Rangers before moving into coaching.
