Former Rangers forward Josh Windass has revealed he has taken the first step to becoming a sporting director - while still playing.
The 31-year-old is currently contracted to Wrexham after leaving Sheffield Wednesday. However, he is out of action at the moment following an injury against West Brom.
Despite having only just signed a three-year deal, it appears Windass is already preparing for when his playing career eventually comes to an end.
On Instagram, the Englishman shared a photo of a diploma he had earned following two years of "relatively hard work".
Windass was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship from the University of Portsmouth.
The period of study is the first step to becoming a sporting director, signalling a possible future career in football beyond playing for Windass.
He captioned the post: "Two years of relatively hard work 😅, Sporting Director course completed. #BackToSchool"

Windass scored on his competitive debut for Wrexham at the start of the season to end a 43-year wait for a goal in the second tier of English football for the club.
The Championship club - backed by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney - returned to the second tier after three consecutive promotions through the divisions.
Wrexham began their Championship campaign away to Southampton, recently relegated from the Premier League.
Windass, signed from Sheffield Wednesday, wrote his name in the history books on his debut for the Welsh club as he scored a penalty after 22 minutes.
The goal, a spot-kick rifled into the bottom corner, made Windass the first player to score in the second tier for Wrexham since 1982.
Unfortunately for the former Rangers ace, Southampton would stage a last-gasp comeback to claim a 2-1 victory at St Mary's.
