Former Raiders WR Martavis Bryant has applied for reinstatement to NFL

Last year, the Oakland Raiders traded for veteran Martavis Bryant in hopes that he would be the perfect complement to Amari Cooper. But after injuries and suspension derailed his season, the Raiders eventually decided to move on.

However, Bryant is trying to make it back into the league after being suspended indefinitely due to substance abuse problems. According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, Bryant has formally applied for reinstatement to the NFL.

If Bryant is cleared, don’t be surprised if Oakland is interested once again in the former Clemson receiver. Bryant is an unreal athlete who can make plays down the field. Bryant has played in just 44 games in his career, catching 145 passes for 2,183 yards and 17 touchdowns.
