Former Raiders WR Antonio Brown orchestrated release via social media

Antonio Brown is officially a Patriot, and we are now starting to gather the details about how the four-time All-Pro receiver was able to make his way out of Oakland and into New England.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Brown hired a social media firm to orchestrate his release out of Oakland. This started with Brown posting a picture of his fines on Twitter to demanding his release on Instagram. Here is the full report via Mortensen:

It’s becoming obvious that Brown had no intention of ever playing for the Raiders. Instead, he wanted to play with New England and Tom Brady. For Oakland, they made the right decision to move on from one of the league’s biggest distractions.
