Mike Glennon just keeps finding work. The man who lost his primary backup job to Deshone Kizer who was just released by the Raiders has agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN’s Mike Garafolo.
Yessir, the neck with backup the stache.
Glennon was a third-round pick by the Buccaneers in 2013. As a rookie, the Bucs thought they had something in Glennon. So much so that when Glennon was sacked 40 times in 13 games, they blamed it on left tackle Donald Penn and cut the former Pro Bowler. More on that in a minute.
Glennon played three seasons in Tampa. He is now on his fifth team in five years and has appeared in a total of 10 games over the past four seasons.
After Penn was cut, he signed on with the Raiders and headed to two more Pro Bowls as their everyday starting left tackle. Last year at the age of 36, he started the season at left tackle in Washington.
But kudos to Glennon for still somehow managing to latch onto an NFL team each season.
