Former President Donald Trump is currently juggling four criminal cases while simultaneously considering another run for the presidency. Despite the legal challenges, Trump has maintained his plea of not guilty in each of these cases.

Hush Money Case:

In March 2023, Trump was indicted by the Manhattan district attorney on state charges related to a hush-money payment made to an adult film star in 2016. Prosecutors alleged that Trump was involved in an illegal conspiracy to influence the integrity of the 2016 election by suppressing negative information, including a $130,000 payment. Trump was found guilty of all 34 counts in this case.

Classified Documents:

In June 2023, a federal grand jury in Miami indicted Trump for taking classified national defense documents from the White House after his term ended and resisting government efforts to retrieve the materials. The trial for this case has been postponed indefinitely due to significant issues surrounding classified evidence.

Federal Election Interference:

In August 2023, Trump was charged with four crimes related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. The indictment accuses Trump and a co-conspirator of attempting to exploit the violence at the Capitol to delay the certification of the election. This case is currently on hold as the Supreme Court considers Trump's claims of presidential immunity.

Fulton County Case:

State prosecutors in Georgia brought a case against Trump and 18 others for their alleged involvement in attempting to overturn the 2020 election results. An Atlanta-based grand jury indicted Trump on state charges related to election subversion. A trial date for this case has not yet been set.

As Trump navigates these legal challenges, his potential candidacy for the presidency remains uncertain. The outcomes of these cases could have significant implications for his political future.
