A former policewoman is staging a mass workout to try and raise as much money as possible to fight cancer.
And super-fit Alanna Perratt wants as many people as possible to congregate in a Paisley park later this month.
The 34-year-old is encouraging Buddies to be more positive with an energetic start to 2022.
The ex-beat cop said she has felt compelled to do more voluntary work... and just do “positive and feel-good stuff that helps people”.
Alanna said: “I want to do more for and in the community this year.

“Although I don’t have a dramatic cancer story to tell from my family, cancer can affect everyone.
“I have been wanting to do charity work for a while and to me the Beatson Cancer Charity is a great cause.”

A year ago we revealed PC Perratt hung up her Police Scotland truncheon after six years.
She set up AP Fitness and Nutrition from her home in Paisley’s south side and this week she said: “I don’t miss the police one bit, I have not regretted my decision one bit.
“What I am doing now gives me so much more job satisfaction.
“And it is not just about the money, it’s about feeling good and enjoying life.”
Simply turn up at the yellow Beatson banners in the car park area at Brodie Park for a 10am start on Saturday January 22.
The workout will last for an hour and there will be charity cans for cash donations or people can go to a justgiving page.
Depending on the turnout and weather conditions, it will either be on solid surface or on grass.
Alanna said people can do it at their own pace and is for all abilities and none, including children.
She added: “My five year old daughter Hope will be there jumping about so I am hoping parents bring their kids, even if they are in prams.
“It is just to get everyone together, to do something positive.
“I will make sure it is a fun and light-hearted HIIT session, it is not going to be difficult.
“People can go easy or hard, you make it what you want.
“I think the workout has a double benefit – it will uplift people and raise money for a good cause.”
Since leaving the force, the 5ft 8ins strong woman, has built up a full client list of people looking to increase their fitness.
She started at the height of lockdown when she had to take individuals outside to train.
Sport and exercise have always been important to her as far back as being sports champion at Brediland Primary and Gleniffer High where she excelled in fitness.
It was ten years ago she started in community policing in East Renfrewshire after graduating from Tulliallan training college.
She was the fittest of her intake and known as “the machine.”
