Former Paragon Interiors employees set up new fit-out firm

Two former Paragon Interiors employees have launched their own fit-out venture and are pledging to build trust with clients.

Integrated Fit Out Ltd will focus on offices and commercial premises in the East Midlands with projects including simple refreshes and makeovers, refurbishments and full reconfigurations.

The company has been set up by Adrian Bellamy and Jamie Khariuk who were both commercial managers at Paragon, which went into administration in February.

Mr Bellamy, who has 30 years' experience in the construction industry, is managing director of the new firm. He said: "We strongly believe there is a gap in the market for our offering.

"Landlord and end of lease refurbishments will likely form the backbone of the business. We are construction rather than design led and will be looking to provide interior solutions to commercial clients and landlords, from minor improvements through to turnkey projects across the East Midlands.

Paragon creditor fears he will not see £550,000 debt repaid

"Building relationships will be the key to our future, built around an ethical model, and based on trust and openness, with our clients, and our supply chain partners."

Paragon, which was based at Nottingham Business Park, went into administration just weeks after it was revealed staff had not been paid.

A deal to buy the company fell through in March and all 90 members of staff were made redundant. The company was due to be wound up on April 10, but a last minute deal was made to sell some assets to counterpart fit-out group Elev8 Interiors.

Spelling out his hopes for the new venture, Mr Khariuk, commercial director of Integrate, who has more than a decade experience in construction, added: "We are very upbeat about this exciting opportunity to harness our experience in the sector where we have both been involved in some truly fantastic projects.

"We will work within our niche but will also be happy to align with larger operators. The key for us is finding projects where we can add value to all parties in a sustainable manner that works for everyone. Working closely with our clients to make a real difference, and nurture the trust that is essential to evolving long lasting relationships."
